If you travel by plane, get to the airport for a short-haul flight at least 90 minutes prior to departure, and two to three hours in advance for a long-haul flight. With an online check-in, you can avoid long waiting periods.
Familiarise yourself with the laws and regulations of your holiday destination.
Do not walk through unknown districts at night, do not get into unmarked taxis and do not accept parcels with unknown contents.
